After approval, first generation digital designs are separated and electronically engraved on high resolution CO2 lasers, the engraving process vaporises the unwanted areas of rubber, leaving a high fidelity engraved surface which offers fine line, halftone and highlight screens guaranteed to register with other colours or photopolymer plates.
